Why does God hide from itself?
A cosmic game of hide and seek.
Alone with itself,
In loving company
What else does one do?
Than to create
Than to play?
Like a good friend,
Peaking out behind a tree,
or Behind a million different masks
It puts on a play with itself
All the while knowing,
It has nothing to lose but itself
And still nothing can ever be lost.
Holding itself, in perfection. In love.
It cannot be separate from itself.
But what is more fun?
How many ways can it hide itself?
It creates a house of a million mirrors
So it can admire its beauty from every facet
With blissful mischief,
and a divine playfulness,
